The new app is available immediately on all Android devices and will be accessible on Apple devices before year-end. My internet is out so after not being able to get a hold of anyone I log into this app. Alerts at the top of the screen display a cut off message about service potentially being down in my area due to weather, so I click for more information. It brings me to a troubleshooting page with the header "All Fios Services Out." Is this a message alerting me to a local outage, or the generic header to a help section? I go through troubleshooting steps to reset my fios box anyway, and the troubleshooter encounters an error, try again later.

Besides that, other links prompting me to set up a pin or set my location take me back to the splash page or back to the start of troubleshooting, leaving me very confused. Ultimately, I just want to speak to someone directly and feel this was a huge waste of time. I'm glad there are some steps to follow but yeah, not worth it in the end.

I was going to go back to Optimum to get lower rate but the fees to change up are awful. I always can use a lower rate and if you can Help seniors it would still be appreciated.

I also that day had a tech glitch with my remote control and changing to my Roku box from cable stations. The tech that assisted me was kind and patient and he walked me thru it and it was a successful Process. I can now change to my Roku without having to get up and do it manually. The problem arose after my tv died, the tv that the home tech who installed fios hooked up, then the new less smart tv that I must use now, did not link up automatically with the remote. Problem has been solved by kind courteous rep. There was a survey sent I entered it late and it was vague.

So, overall I had a positive experience with Both phone reps and I am quite satisfied. I would always welcome an even lower bill. It also paves the way for easy access to dozens of new remote applications currently in development by Verizon and the company's content provider partners. Change your TV game with the Fios TV app. To clarify, Verizon customers will still need to have one Fios TV One box in the house in order to install the Fios TV app straight to their Apple TVs and Fire TVs. The apps do come with a monthly surcharge of $20, which Verizon hasn't been very transparent about in the announcement.

The good news is at least you won't have to pay for multiple Fios TV One boxes for all the TVs in your home. Boxes cost a monthly rental fee of $12 each, and $6 per month for a third and fourth box. With the app option, users will now get a standard tuner box for free with all Fios TV plans. Verizon will still require that Fios customers have one Fios TV One box in their house, but that's included with all Fios TV plans at no additional charge. From there, users can install the Fios TV application on their Apple TV for access on other televisions throughout their house, rather than having to pay for multiple Fios TV One boxes from Verizon.

Just spent an hour trying to use the app to "solve" my internet and cable being out, when the app says we're having trouble connecting to the internet please try again! Then I go through again and it says are you experiencing a power outage but the no button is unclickable so I can't proceed. I would call but I have spent over 20+hrs on hold with them over the last 2 years trying to get my phone service properly installed which they didn't do when I started the service. They haven't missed it on the bill though! They also drilled a hole in my hardwood floor without permission.

I have lived in 5 states and never had service that is worse customer service included. My wireless bill is due mid month, FiOS is due on 26th. My wireless payment has been on auto pay mid-month for years. Something in their systems is mapped improperly. So I keep my wireless on auto pay and have to manually login to My Fios to pay the bill each month on the 26th.

I have never been so disappointed by just about any company that I have ever done business with. I have had nothing but problems with Verizon Fios and they do not care. All they want is your money and then more of it.

The functionality of their service is not good. Also I warn you not to be duped into believing any special offers that they give to new customers as you WILL NOT receive them! I have spent countless hours on the phone with them during the past year and have wasted all of that time. I cannot receive the promotion promised when I signed up and I cannot get out of my contract without paying for it.

Well so far the money spent to get out of the contract will be the best money spent throughout this entire process. If you are looking for a cable service provider I urge you to look somewhere else. You will be disappointed with Verizon Fios. The application also adds smartphone simplicity to an already significant inventory of borderless lifestyle tools. Easy to set up but only works half the time.

A lot of the time it says it can't connect to the router. And if you enable Home Network Protection, which you must do to set up parental controls, you're forced to use the app. If you need to make changes, you have to wait until the app will magically work again which could take days. Even if you toggle it off on the app, it still doesn't let you change the parental controls on the website, since you made the initial decision to enable Home network protection. Thinking about ditching the Verizon router because of this.

Also if you want to change the schedule for a particular device, you can't edit it. You have to delete the whole thing and start over. Last version was pretty good, easy, straightforward user experience. The update makes it much harder to use, more swipes needed to complete the same tasks as before, second landing screen, multiple places to select record.

Looks like the same dis-improvements to the Fios menus on the STB have been transferred to the app. The developer should be tarred and feathered for making customers unhappy. One star for making it worse than before. 2018–update—still too many steps to get to record a program. Now there's a distraction, a second record button that records the next week's program.

Gee thanks—now I missed this week's episode. (I'm trying to not get into the problems with the service itself here). When is Verizon going to wise up and serve the customer again? I have been a Fios client since it was introduced. Verizon claims fast internet speeds and they deliver. The design is generic plain vanilla with nothing to like or dislike.

The issue is with accessing any phone information, calls and voicemail. Very slow at accessing calls, voicemail and blocking content. Deleting calls with the small delete button on bottom right hand corner takes numerous attempts. With a company as large as Verizon this should not be the case.

This is the only alternative to access my account so I am stuck with them. I also do not understand the app updates as nothing new or speed increase is noted. When I check my fios tv package feature, it says it's unable to connect. I was already pushed back on the waiting queue. So accessing the app was kind of my last option, I guess I'm just going to call again. This would be a great app especially right now given you guys must be understaffed with customer service, so I would implore you to fix whatever bug this is.

This a well structured and easy to use ap. Its a very sophisticated ap with tons of advanced features and impressive graphics. I can easily pay my bill in seconds and get email and iphone screen confirmation. You can easily control the remotes in any room and configure many aspects of your FIOS account. My only problem is that there are two aps. There is another ap called FIOS mobile and I am never quite sure which one to use.

But, between the two of them I have always been able to do almost everything that I wanted to do. I would still give this ap 5 stars and highly recommend it. No available assistance or explanations for the inaccessibility. Had to type in the password several times each time was precisely entered. Was asking for information that was not previously required or proposed as a means of accessing the account Photo for credit card does not work.

Errors were expressed without explanation as to what they were or how to correct the errors. Finally accepted password even though it said it was invalid. The person trying to help was of no use for a long time then we eventually we were arable to figure it out but the process takes far too long.

I don't understand how a phone company which deals in telephone as it means of business is able to complicate the payment method so severely. Then if done by call in wants to charge extra to pay for it's own company service. This is the worst app ever created by humankind. I could literally teach a 1st grader how to create a better application in a week, it's beyond me that the people who made this are still employed.

The bugs in this app run rampant, good luck using any customer service features. If you close the app to check something for customer service you can't get back into said customer service conversation. Tracking your technician is a feature they boast when they schedule an appointment for you, but it doesn't work in app like they boast about. If you're one of the lucky ones and never have to speak to customer service and just use the app to pay your bills, you'll be fine. If you have to use it for literally anything prepare to want to throw your phone. Fios Customer support misleading me since my past 5 attempts to reach them.

They didn't took my request to disconnect the fios services on 19july instead told me they will contact me later but never called back. On my move date 30 July fios didn't disconnect & charged me for the full month of service. I had to call again on 1st Aug to place a disconnect service request & fios doesn't provide service at my new address but they charged me for the complete Aug month. I used fios for past 2 years still they are behaving like that very bad customer support. You don't have to wait for your Fios TV to be set up to start watching your favorites.

American Airlines is having more problems than just canceling flights. From customer service to baggage handling and forward, their service standards level has just fallen to a horrible level. Had notified them I would be checking a firearm in my luggage the very same day I booked my flight with them in March. They notifed me of all FAA Laws/Rules/Guidelines and Instructions on flying a firearm.

I was notified some time in April or May that my flight schedule had been changed. I called customer service to find out why and of course, no one could explain why. They offered to try to fix it as best as they could, however, they still couldn't change the error when they booked me on the late flight returning to Fayetteville at 1145pm. This caused me to have to take off an extra day from work and burn extra vacation hours.

Was also told when asked that they could offer me NOTHING for my inconvenience. I paid to leave on July 11th, I was forced to leave on the 12th. I paid to come back on July 16th, I was forced to come back on July 18th. I did a quick online booking, which led to 28 hours on hold on the phone.

Seriously, American Airlines is the single worst company I have ever had to deal with in my entire life. Is there any legal action I can take to get my money back? I lost over a thousand dollars and I have to reschedule the entire trip becasue they failed to get me to my appointment. You could've offered me $1500 to take that trip and I would've refused because of how bad it is. I will never touch American Airlines property again, nor will I ever use Expedia again. I do agree that you should not have to fight for free checked bag benefit, but if you message the credit card company, they will reverse the charges. From Leon, Mexico is Delta which is a two stop flight before we arrive in Boston. I think I'll take my chances on AMerican where we fly thru Dallas.

We get to Boston at nearly midnight so I'll staying over and will make it home to Provincetown the next day. It's a lousy trip, particularly with my 17.5 year old emotional support dog who is now incontinent. I do fly first or business class but this will tax my sick lungs. In Leon/Guanajuato they've made it harder on themselves by closing off the upstairs gate area and making everyone crowd into the smaller downstairs area. This was probably a financial decision because the departure flight board that used to show 20+ flights now shows 4 or 5.

But it's pointless to mark seats as not to be used then cram five flights' worth of people into the same waiting area as before, standing room only. On top of that, some airport employees were not wearing masks or were wearing them with their nose uncovered. That's kind of like taking a birth control pill every other day or wearing a condom "most of the time." Not very effective. Basic economy seats aren't different from other standard seats in coach.
